Their journey began with a virtual connection that bloomed into a serendipitous meeting in Simi Valley, California back in 2013. It was a moment where time stood still, meeting at a park where they instinctively ran into each other’s arms. As time went on, their love story blossomed, resulting in an inseparable bond that led to their desire for a deeply intimate celebration. They came to us with a beautiful idea: an escape to the Redwoods for a tenth anniversary elopement to celebrate all they have done together. After that, we got to work creating a timeline for their day as intimate and romantic as their shared love.

Sunlit Vows in the Redwood’s Embrace

At midday, under the clear California skies, preparations for their celebration commenced at their cozy AirBnB. In separate spaces, they poured their hearts into intimate vows while being pampered for their special day. The bride in classical elegance, wore a long white lace dress, while the groom donned a dark navy blue jacket, gray slacks and tie. Once dolled up, they reunited, ready to embark on the sacred journey of their celebration. Keaton fastened Carrie’s dress as she straightened his tie while sharing a cherished moment. They clinked glasses in a toast to the years of love. Eventually, as the clock struck 4 PM, they ventured into the serene forest around the AirBnB for portraits, capturing the tender moments of the day.

Forest Ceremonies and Wildflower Picnics

Lastly their day reached its pinnacle at Navarro Redwoods State Park, the setting for their enchanting ceremony. Bathed in the golden light of the shadowy forest, they exchanged vows and took in the quiet beauty of nature. Their love as sturdy as the mighty redwoods. As the sun began to fall lower in the sky, a whimsical picnic amidst the wildflowers awaited the couple. While here, they frolicked among the blooms, savoring personal snacks, reading love letters, and toasting with fine wine. Once finished, Keaton and Carrie strolled along the Mendocino Headlands, capturing the beauty of the sunset with their photographer. The tranquil moments of the blue hour were the canvas for their first dance as a couple, lit by lantern light and the moon beginning to rise. Their vision was a celebration perfectly aligned with the lush richness of the redwoods.
